Suggestions for race series'

What are some ideas you guys have for a good racing series? .. Will it have qualifying? PI Handicap? Cars? Class ?

After this GT series, I would like to run a Ford VS GM of the 90's series... Here is how it can work out... There will be teams of 2 drivers to each team. But no "stacked" teams! Me and CB cant be on the same team... One fast driver and one slower driver. This way the faster driver can help his team mate with driving lines and technique. It is a Team! We need to help the slower guys in the club improve. That will give us better and closer racing in the future and also help your chance of winning this TEAM based championship.... Each driver of that team will race in sperate lobbies... Team cars will have matching designs with alternate colors.... Must have number plate on both sides of the car and driver names on all sides of the car.... This series will be a team effort and require both parties of the team to participate... No one driver will win this series, it will have to be a team effort.. Only when both drivers participate can full points be awarded. If your team mate doesn't show, you only get half the points.... Points will not be awarded to individuals but to teams... we will try to only run 8 per lobby.. However if more racers show up. Finishing lower than 8th place nets no points... However the race isn't the only opportunity to get points.. Qualifying will also get you points... Top 3 qualifiers get points.. However first qualifier will start last and 2nd will be second to last and so on... Races will be started heads up no roll off delay.. They will also be started after one pace lap from a roll @ 70 MPH.... Everyone gives the go and the leader of the pack will get to start the race... Now for the cars.. I will work out something where the cars run equal.. but this will not be a series that caters to the slower guys for PI... The cars will most likely be built in this manner... Stock motor with Race exhaust, Flywheel.. Race weight reduction, Race cage, Race tires, Sport suspention and sport trans... We are going to be going grass roots... cars eligable are the following.. 93 cobra R, 90 camaro Iroc Z, Trans Am GTA...

1ST place = 25 points
2nd place = 18 points
3rd place = 15
4th place = 10 points
5th place = 8 points
6th place = 6 points
7th place = 4 points
8th place = 2 points

1st qualifier = 6 points
2nd qualifier = 4 points
3rd qualifier= 2 points
